Conservatives mocking Carney skating with Edmonton Oilers: "So awkward! Ha ha!"
Oilers captain Connor McDavid said: "It’s nice to have him here. He’s a lifelong Oilers fan and Oilers fans are welcome here for sure. It’s definitely a unique thing.”

The Toronto Star’s Linda McQuaig went after Postmedia. She said it was “unbelievable” that Americans who supported Trump owned part of a Canadian newspaper chain.
My response: I write for that chain. In a single hour, I kick the shit out of Trump more than Linda does in an entire year.
I have volunteered for Clinton, Biden and Harris to oppose Trump, and written about it for that chain. They print every word.
The only thing "unbelievable" is Linda McQuaig.

Deep thoughts:

I found some Doc Marten sandals I liked. Consulted with E.
Her: "So, so horrendous. I will never be seen with you again."
Naturally, I bought them.

Who says countries can't die? Countries die all the time.
The United States, as we knew it, is dead.
Sad, but true.
**
Two men who aren't here changing the fates of two men who are: Trudeau leaving, and Trump returning, have fundamentally changed everything for Carney and Poilievre. It's like Dickens' Christmas Carol, except it's about politics.
**
Washed my Jeep so it would rain. You're welcome, farmers.
**
If I were advising Poilievre, I would write - and release publicly - the most insulting, aggressive letter to Trump to get him to lose his mind and attack Poilievre. The Tories need to position themselves as the anti-Trump party.
They won't, of course.
**
Someone told me that my post that was critical the way Carney spoke to journalists was "ratioed" by his supporters.
My response: "Good. The social platforms pay me lots of money when I generate lots of traffic. So, ratio away."
**
Tories are telling everyone that Trump attacked their leader this week.
It's a strategy, I guess. Doubt it'll work, at this point, but it's better than what they'd been doing, which was fondle their old Axe The Tax merch and reminisce whimsically about 2024.
**
I predicted this on the radio last week: the “western separatists" were going to start kvetching and threatening to leave Canada because the Poilievre Conservatives blew a 30 point lead in six weeks.
Sucky babies.
**
If Carney wins a majority, he wins. If he wins a minority, he wins. And if all Poilievre can win is a minority, Carney wins. Because the Opposition will defeat the Tories the first chance they get.
Carney has many opportunities to win, now.
**
Readers ask me if I think Trump will invade Canada. I tell them I don't think so. Likelier, I think, is Russia crossing into our North - as they did many times just last year - and Trump letting them do it.

Nice post from my colleagues:
“All of us at Daisy Group wish to congratulate our Founder and President @kinsellawarren for being awarded The King Charles III Coronation Award for his contributions to fighting antisemitism in Canada.
The King Charles Award is given to those who have made a significant contribution to Canada or to a particular province, territory, region or community of Canada, or have made an outstanding achievement abroad that brings credit to Canada.”
Pierre used the wrong word when he said Canada is broken. Canada isnt broken but our way of life has diminished. Prosperity being one. The middle class is just about gone measured by trying to buy a million dollar home.
I dont think its Pierres style to write Trump a nasty letter. A face to face guy. JMO
Pierre likes to butt heads on ideas. Eat apples whike doing it.
I have to laugh at Carney using Pierre's idea to drop the gst on new homes. He either liked the idea honestly or is trying to provoke Pierre into a fight. An endorsement for Poliviere by Carney..how sweet! Voters see that on both sides. Caney is a fun guy! A joker! Hes trying to project that. Imo.
Looking forward to more fireworks.
Politics like football..you can be 4 TD and a field goal behind and still win!!!
Tom Brady did it all the time..
Indeed, congratulations on your award. Once again, thanks for exposing and contradicting the ancient evil of antisemitism. God bless your public service, Warren!
