Pierre used the wrong word when he said Canada is broken. Canada isnt broken but our way of life has diminished. Prosperity being one. The middle class is just about gone measured by trying to buy a million dollar home.
I dont think its Pierres style to write Trump a nasty letter. A face to face guy. JMO
Pierre likes to butt heads on ideas. Eat apples whike doing it.
I have to laugh at Carney using Pierre's idea to drop the gst on new homes. He either liked the idea honestly or is trying to provoke Pierre into a fight. An endorsement for Poliviere by Carney..how sweet! Voters see that on both sides. Caney is a fun guy! A joker! Hes trying to project that. Imo.
Looking forward to more fireworks.
Politics like football..you can be 4 TD and a field goal behind and still win!!!
Indeed, congratulations on your award. Once again, thanks for exposing and contradicting the ancient evil of antisemitism. God bless your public service, Warren!
This is exactly what's wrong with both politics and media these days. In point of fact, the American public, just like ours, is about evenly split left vs right. Worse still, the split is heavily polarized. Any reasonable voter in the middle has to make a tough choice, knowing there will be a downside no matter what. The left have an appalling record, these past recent years, of gross financial mismanagement, expensive vanity "virtual signaling" projecfs while us ordinary schleps just want to get by without losing our livelihoods, and artful barefaced lying and exageration. As for trump, it goes without saying that he was always prone to bullying and ridiculous hyperbole. But he did seem in his first term at least to have a grasp of financial management and reasonable limits on immigration. So what's a voter to do? We swallow hard and make the best choice we can from a disappointing array of candidates. The choice of Trump seemed equivocal last fall. Unfortinately only now are we seeing just how out of control and unthinking (and vindictive) trump can really be. In that kind of context, a handful of American citizens happen to own shares in Post Media. So what does that have to do with the price of apples? In all probability they invested in Post Media well before the present disaster. There are probably some Democrat share holders and Liberals in Post Media's portfolio as well. Heavens. Call the crime lab. We'd better do a DNA test and a psychological assessment of every single investor and reader who ever had anything to do with a Postmedia publication. Failing that obsessive hysteria, maybe, just maybe, the fact that Postmedia publishes a left leaning columnist without censorship or editorial intereference is far more important than another pundit foaming at the mouth.
Nice retort to Linda McQuaig. I make a conscientious effort to be a "voice of reason" and avoid all the social media scrapping. But when some of these folks go just way over the top (say, like a certain president) the human side kjcks in and I just can't resist a good barb. Keep 'em comin' sir. I needed a nice zinger in these depressing times.
