Hamas is making up stories about Israel killing Palestinians every day and most of the media faithfully report them as true.

The main effect of these stories is ever increasing rage in the “globalize the intifada” crowd. This is likely to continue making life more difficult for Canadian Jews and anyone else who supports Israel.

As a journalist, it is annoying to me that outlets like the CBC and others are using injury/death statistics from Hamas in Gaza with zero verification, with no disclaimer that they are not verifying these numbers. As for Curtis Sliwa, I listened to him a bit on WABC 770 in the late oghts (2008ish) and he then was a tamer version of Mark Levin – sort of. Interesting election scene in NYC.

I never heard of this Dem nominee until 10 minutes ago and now that I have looked into him, I now know why.

Agreed donald Trump made the right decision on Iran. A refreshing moment of spine and rational judgement from a man who usually has no good judgement and as much class as a sack of wet mice. (He has earned back one capital 😈)

"Warren, we / I have never heard of you".... OK, fair enough. It's a big world and lots of writers out there. So what exactly does that have to do with the price of tomatoes? You have heard of him now, newbies (seeing as how you're here to make that comment). What exactly do you think of the political analyses just presented? ENOUGH of #%^ "influencers" and "polls" and glorified social media popularity contests shallower than Trudeau the Younger's brain! (See? no F-bombs really needed to make the point). Being a leader means actually having an idea of your own and the hard work if selling it to enough reasonable middle of the road people. That doesn't happen in a 30 second tweet. All of which has a bearing on the Nanos poll; It's early days and the usual new government love-in. Never was there a better proof that we in Canada do not vote for substance and merit in a new leader and policy, we vote AGAINST the old rock star. Ergo, both Trudeau and Singh tanked their old parties. For about 30 whole days at best. Trudeau gone, Singh gone, and all is forgiven and forgotten. "Rinse and repeat" (the better to use the shampoo up more quickly and earn its seller more $$). Your hair will fall out anyway after a few decades, not unlike the economic and moral disintegration of our own good country.

But yes, Poilievre, in spite of being one of the first capable PC leaders in years, fatally miscalculated by riding on the wave of well justified revulsion against Trudeau and Singh. It's a tough call overcoming a shallow and biased electorate and left leaning media. A new face is needed. Yes, Carney might screw up. In fact he WILL screw up economically and morally; he's already hard at work doing it. But in the shallow puddle of public opinion even Trudeau had to screw up repeatedly and consistently before people started getting wise. We should look forward to ten MORE years of massive inflation, over the top wokism, and incredibly ironic moral flaccidity.

As usual, Doctor Warren's disgnosis is probably pretty accurate, even if the medicine tastes awful. A new hero riding in out of the west is indeed needed, but good luck finding one.

trump sent a message, and even if he didnt go low enough for trickster Iran to do damage..they got the message. USA is the 3rd largest population in the world..so they could inflict some damage if needed .

Yeah I remember Curtis Sliwa. Wondering what he's up to now. Like Mamdani today, seemed at least superficially credible in some of his past views. So how does any pol go so idiotically off the rails? I have only one little question for "Socialist Democrat" Mamdani: How are the recent generations of Jews BORN in Israel "settlers"? And pray tell, where exactly are they supposed to go "back" to, genius?

Oh and BTW, where did the Jewish people come from origjnally? (OK, sorry, that's TWO questions for Mr M.)
